Everyone who has participated in the Hill Dickinson PlaceEXPO Table Football World Cup 2014 is invited to attend the Table Football World Cup Party, which takes place in the PlaceEXPO conference space at No 4 St Paul’s Square on the evening of Thursday 3 July.
The evening will see the tournament played from the quarter-finals to a conclusion in a carnival atmosphere, with football-themed music and entertainment. Bean will be serving chilli dogs and nachos, washed down with beer, wine and soft drinks from their pop-up bar. Commercial District BID are hoping to arrange further football-themed entertainment in St Paul’s Square, as they did at the launch event.
Following the World Cup Final, the trophy will be presented to the winning team by Merseyside football legend Graeme Sharp. Graeme played at the 1986 World Cup, as well as winning numerous league and cup honours for Everton FC and scoring more goals for them than anyone except Dixie Dean! There will also be medals for all 32 teams who have participated in the tournament.
The Party starts from 5pm, with the first quarter-final match due to start at 5.30pm and the World Cup Final expected to kick-off at 7.15pm.
In order to access the venue (and so we know how many guests to expect), all attendees must register for the party on Eventbrite and bring your e-ticket with you. Your e-ticket is also your passport to your free chilli dog and free first drink. A cash bar will then be available.
